Salford City Council have been nominated for Digital Council of the Year award and they need your vote.
The Digital Council award recognises councils who have a strong online presence and are easily accessible to local residents.
Salford City Council are a part of the online community by regularly updating their social media outlets.
A Salford resident, Tom Levins, said: “I can definitely see that Salford have a strong online presence, certainly online.”
However, in contrast, Salford University lecturer, Caroline Cheetham, said: “I wonder how innovative they are being as I’m not really aware that they have a really brilliant online presence.”
Quays News spoke to members of the public about their thoughts on Salford City Council’s nomination resulting in mixed views:

Digital Leaders have created this award along with ten other categories including Young Digital Leader of the Year Award and Digital Charity of the Year Award.
